Was a Solitary Man -

And Then He Kissed Me - ;))

It seems like Only Yesterday -

That he took on me and two kids -

Not A Moment Too Soon -

And became the Dad That He Didn’t Have To Be - ;))

He had a chronic illness -

So each and every time he got sick or he didn’t feel good -

It would Take Another Little Piece Of My Heart - ;((

He was My Soul And Inspiration -

And the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me - ;))

Almost forty years ago -

We promised to love each other until the day we died - ;))

He Stopped Loving Me Today -

And I guess the world ain’t gonna stop -

For My Broken Heart - ;((

Like the song says -

I could have missed the pain -
But I'd have had to miss -
The Dance -

And we had a wonderful dance - ;))

So, honey -

If you get there before I do don’t give up on me
I’ll meet you when my chores are through
